This Privacy Policy describes how HoverQR ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting it. Our core privacy principle is simple: HoverQR is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

1. Information We Handle

HoverQR processes information in the following ways, all of which occur locally on your device:

• Information You Provide for QR Code Generation: When you generate a QR code for content such as Wi-Fi credentials, contact information, URLs, text, or location data, this information is used solely to create the QR code image. This data remains on your device and is never sent to our servers or any third party.
• Camera Access for QR Code Scanning: The App requires access to your device's camera to scan QR codes. The camera feed is processed in real-time, on your device, to read the QR code. We do not store, save, or transmit any images or video from your camera. The access is purely functional and temporary for the scanning process.
• Gallery/Storage Access for Saving: If you choose to save a generated QR code, the App requires permission to write to your device's photo gallery. This permission is used only to save the QR code image to the location you specify. The App does not read or access any other files in your gallery.

2. How We Use Information

The information handled by HoverQR is used exclusively for the following core functionalities of the App:

• To generate QR codes based on your input.
• To scan and decode QR codes using the camera.
• To save generated QR codes to your device's gallery.
• To initiate sharing of a generated QR code through your device's native operating system sharing options.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not collect any personal information, so we have nothing to share.

Since all data processing and storage happens locally on your device, we do not have access to your information and therefore cannot share it with any third parties. When you use the "Share" feature, you are using your device's built-in sharing functionality, and you choose who to share the QR code image with.

4. Data Security

We take your privacy seriously. The security of the information you process with HoverQR (such as the content of your QR codes or the images you save) is protected by the security of your own device. We recommend you use a secure passcode and follow best security practices for your mobile device.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently handled information from a child, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
